  1. What is the Consumer Advisory Group?
  2. The Consumer Advisory Group is a research panel designed to provide its members with the opportunity to give meaningful feedback on products or services offered in the market today for the chance of prizes, give aways and sweepstake entries. The Consumer Advisory Group is sponsored by MKM Partners LLC, a registered broker-dealer, Member FINRA/SIPC in conjunction with Market Tools, a leader in providing on-line market research platforms.

    The research data collected will be shared with affiliates of the Consumer Advisory Group and used to generate investment ideas and strategies. Through your participation in our panels you may help provide insights into:

    • How to improve products that are in the market today,
    • What exciting new products companies should introduce,
    • How to improve a company's marketing efforts,
    • What advertising is most effective,
    • What promotions work, or
    • How to improve the overall shopping experience, no matter what channel you shop and purchase products and services in.
  3. How do I join the Consumer Advisory Group?
  4. To join, please visit the online registration page and provide us with some basic information about yourself. Once you complete the registration survey and if you qualify to participate in our panel, you will receive a welcome letter within 10 to 15 business days.

    The moderators of the Consumer Advisory Group reserve the right to accept or reject any application it receives, in its sole discretion.

  5. Will my personal information and responses to survey questions be kept confidential?
  6. We take your privacy seriously. The personal information you provide in the Registration Questionnaire is kept confidential and is used for the Consumer Advisory Group’s planning decisions only. It should be specifically noted that this panel is not for marketing and sales solicitation.

    Aggregated survey responses received from panel members will be shared with affiliates to generate reports and formulate conclusions to be used for investment purposes and, from time to time, to share with retailers, manufacturers and other companies; however, in no way will an individual panel member’s specific identity be revealed in such reports or tied to a particular response.   7. How is my personal information used, and what happens to my responses after I submit them?
  8. Your personal information is used to create a respondent profile and to track how many surveys are being sent to you. Your respondent profile is used by the Consumer Advisory Group to determine which research studies are best suited for you. Whenever a research study is completed, each respondent's information is compiled into a research report that is used to formulate important conclusions about how a particular product or service is perceived from the consumer panel’s perspective. This information can be used to formulate an investment idea or strategy. In no event will a panel member’s specific information or responses be included in the research report.

    Please note: This is not a marketing program and, as such, no marketing material will be sent to you as a result of joining this panel.

  9. How often will you contact me to participate in a Consumer Advisory Group research study?
  10. Panel members will be invited to participate in research studies (primarily on-line surveys) on a periodic basis averaging approximately three times per month.

  13. Are there special rewards/incentives for participating in the panel?
  14. Yes. At our discretion we will offer rewards for respondents who participate in some of these research studies. You will be provided information regarding any special rewards or incentives prior to participating in a research study.

  15. How do I unsubscribe from the panel?
  16. To be removed from the Consumer Advisory Group send an e-mail with the word "REMOVE" in the subject line to: optout@consumeradvisorygroup.com. Upon receipt, we will promptly update your preferences; however, it is possible that you may receive previously initiated invitations until your updated preferences are effective in our system.

  17. When does the survey close?
  18. When we have received enough responses from panelists, we close the survey so that we may evaluate your feedback. We are often unable to give a closing date in the invitation because it is difficult for us to predict exactly when we will have a sufficient number of responses to examine.

  19. I recently completed the first survey to join the panel, but I have not yet received a confirmation email. What should I do?
  20. After completing the initial survey, it can take up to 15 business days to upload the information and receive your confirmation email. If you do not receive/have not received your confirmation email within 15 business days, please contact us at support@consmeradvisorygroup.com.
